resources to help you through hard times

“There are some things in life we aren’t meant to go through alone” - Curt Nunn, longtime FBC church member

Being a community that is for each other and walks with each other is central to who we are as a church. There are a number of resources that could be helpful to you as you journey through all that life brings. For more info on any of these, contact Steve or Bronwyn.

  • Homegroups - small groups that meet weekly throughout Yolo County to develop friendships  and seek God together

  • Helping Hands - our meal train and odd jobs group for people in our church community, when you need some extra support

  • Celebrate Recovery - a biblically balanced approach to help bring sustainable recovery and healing to our hurts

  • Freedom From Pornography - a confidential weekly zoom gathering where people are finding freedom from lust-centered addictions

  • Pastors - meet with any of our pastors to process and pray through life situations

  • Premarital mentoring - we pair engaged couples with married couples to walk through Save Your Marriage Before It Starts to help them prepare for marriage.

  • Therapists - we partner with Community Counseling Associates to provide affordable counseling at our church campus to individuals and families. We can also recommend other excellent local therapists

  • Spiritual Directors - Spiritual Directors help you to listen and recognize how God is active in your life, giving way to a deeper friendship with God and direction in life

  • Life Coaching - Coaches help you get unstuck in life and make progress on your most important goals

  • Prayer Partners - FBC members John and Elaine Busch have the spiritual gift of listening and interceding with people to seek God for healing and transformation.
