Living in a broken world, we all deal with life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits. No one has the ability, nor should they attempt to face their hurts on their own. Celebrate Recovery of Davis is a beautiful community of strugglers that courageously enter this safe space to get honest about our pain, and the negative ways we may see ourselves, God and others. In this process we come to accept that some of the habits we may have developed to escape our pain have caused destruction in our life and those close to us.  

Celebrate recovery is a biblically balanced approach to help bring sustainable recovery from our addictions and healing to our hurts. This program guides us toward new healthy truths and life-giving habits as we repair our broken relationships. And it all centers on the 8 principles of Celebrate Recovery based on the beatitudes.

FBC Davis is partnering with the national organization Celebrate Recovery and local Christian leaders in Yolo County and FBC. We meet every Sunday night at 5:30pm in the FBC Youth Center at 38141 Russell Blvd in Davis. Join us in our walk toward freedom through the power of Jesus Christ. No RSVP is needed.

These words are about more than just "issues." They are realities that friends, family, co-workers, and we ourselves struggle with in secret. Celebrate Recovery is here to tell you, "you are not alone." "Jesus can heal you." “Come and see.”

Celebrate Recovery of Davis California is a Christ-Centered 12 Step recovery program designed for Anyone struggling with a wide range or hurts, hang-ups, and unhealthy or disruptive habits of any kind.

It is a safe place for you to find community, as well as to help you discover freedom from the issues taking control of your life.

The 8 Guiding Principles

Based on the Beatitudes, Celebrate Recovery is built around these 8 ideas:

• Realize that I am not God.

• Earnestly believe that God exists.

• Consciously choose to commit all my life and will to Christ's care.

• Openly Examine and confess my faults to myself.

• Voluntarily submit to any and all changes God wants to make in my life.

• Evaluate all my relationships.

• Reserve a daily time with God for self-examination.

• Yield myself to God to be used to bring Good News to others.
