About the Event
About: This small retreat is part of our retreat rhythm this year. Because we've experienced the health of pausing our normal activities and giving our full attention to listen to God and seek him, we pull away for half-days, weekends with just a few people, and weekends in large all-church retreats. Join spiritual director (and our pastor emeritus!) Scott Wieking for a weekend at a VRBO in the foothills. Space is limited to 15 people (if space has run out, don't worry! We can help you organize your own small group retreat, or join our next one in the spring). We'll enjoy God's gifts of food and friendship, and take time to discuss and practice ways to listen to God and live a Jesus-shaped life.Â
Accommodation: 7 bedroom, 4 bath VRBO outside of Nevada City. Each person will share a bedroom
Travel: We can set up carpools or drive individually
Food: We'll all cook together!
Cost: $200 per person covers accommodation and food. If you carpool, come ready to contribute for gas
