Foster Care Graduates Luggage Drive
Imagine being 18 years old—having spent your formative teen years in foster care—and now standing at the edge of adulthood with few or no relational supports. We're providing luggage and a other essentials to the 20 teens in Yolo County's foster system who are aging out of foster care this year

About the Event
Every year we have around 20 foster kids in Yolo County who graduate High School and age out of foster care. And every year the fabulous director of our county's foster system organizes a gift drive. This year no one came to help, so she asked her friends at our church if we could step in. Let's do this, church! This is a real blessing to the teens, both in the value of the gifts and in the demonstrated reality that people care.
Here's how you can help: •Donate a piece of new or practically used luggage (something that you would be happy to own). Some teens like duffle bags, others like suitcases. Bring your donations to FBC by May 18.
