Baptism Celebration

Baptism is a physical expression of a spiritual reality, that you trust in Jesus and his forgiveness and love for you!

 

You go under the water, which symbolizes dying to an old way of life. Then you are brought up out of the water, symbolizing God bringing you into a new way of life following Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is a significant moment to ‘bury’ your old life, old habits, and old ways of being and begin to walk in a new life with God. In other words, baptism is a visible representation that you are being changed by the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus (Romans 6.3-5). 

Everyone is invited to the baptism celebration right after the church service.
