11.14.2008 | New Baby Welcome Quilt
A new quilt is available to all parents of babies born during 2008. Come to the Fellowship Hall foyer and choose one for your newborn. FBC’s Sewing Sowers will have them available from 10:00-10:30 and 11:30-12:00 on November 16, 23 and 30.

Ministry Opportunities & Highlights

Salvation Army Bell Ringer | The Salvation Army is looking for Holiday bell ringers. FBC has committed to filling one hour long spots on Dec. 3rd from 9am-5pm at the East Davis Longs. If interested in helping on the 3rd or another day please contact Meg Harper.

STEAC | Short Term Emergency Aid Committee, a Yolo- County based volunteer organization whose purpose is to provide short-term emergency aid is looking for people to participate in their Holiday Adopt-A-Family program.  This is an opportunity that can be undertaken by a family or group and includes providing Christmas gifts and a meal. The deadline for adoptions is Dec. 10th. They are also looking for volunteers to help with gift distributions on Dec. 20th.  Please contact Susan Simon at 758-8435 for more information.

Orchestral Musicians | If you play orchestral instruments we would love to have you as a part of the worship team on select Sunday mornings. If you are interested, please contact Jim Plaskett.

Children’s Ministry Greeter | W e are looking for someone with a warm, welcoming smile and a heart for families to greet at our Children’s Ministry table in the plaza before the 9 a.m. service. Please contact Kristi Gladding for more information.

Internships Available | FBC will have full-time youth and college internships available beginning this August. We are currently accepting applications for those positions. If you have any questions or would like to request more information about the internship program, please contact Joe Biggs or Dan Seitz.

Grace in Action Homeless Outreach | Thanks for your continued support of Grace in Action’s ministry to homeless individuals!  Current guest needs include rain ponchos, tarps (6’x 8’ and dark green or black on one side), antibiotic cream and saran wrap. Greeting Ministry | Greeters are needed for our Sunday morning services. All that is required is a hand shake and a smile. If you or your home-group is interested in helping, please contact Meg Harper.

Are you a graphic designer? Join the FBC design team and help to make fliers, bulletin inserts, web graphics, t-shirt designs, and more, from the comfort of your own home. You can volunteer a few hours a month or as much as you'd like. You should have access to email and be comfortable with software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or Flash.
