Missions: Missionary Profiles

FBC supports over 20 missionary families who work with agencies such as Wycliffe, New Tribes Missions, Frontiers, YWAM, Pioneers, and more. Some of them are listed here, others are not to protect their ministry.

Bryan and Julie Augsburger
Organization: Campus Crusade for Christ
Location: Florida

Bryan and Julie Augsburger live in Orlando, Florida, where Bryan works with the President's Communication Group of Campus Crusade, doing graphic design, photography, and even set-building. His work supports Campus Crusade ministries such as the JESUS film and other evangelistic videos.

Martin Castro
Organization: YUGO
Location: Mexico

Martin is a local pastor at FBC's sister church in Mexico. He and his wife Silvia have started many different types of ministries, including a sports ministry, a prison ministry, an orphanage, and more.

Chuck and Elouise Corwin
Organization: Tyrannus Hall International
Location: California

The Corwins developed a focus for strategically discipling college students by creating dormitory-like settings called Tyrannus Halls around the world. Currently, Chuck acts as Executive Secretary and communicates with all of the halls. The Corwins have published a book, From the Halls of Tyrannus, full of interesting stories from their 54 years of service.

Mary Kenny
Organization: New Tribes Mission
Location: Papua New Guinea (currently in Davis on furlough!)

Mary's goal is to eventually plant a church among a tribe called the Pukapuki. She'll be learning their language, translating the Bible into their language, and teaching them about the Bible.

Victor and Riena Kondo
Organization: International Outreach Ministries
Location: Colombia

The Kondos work as linguist translators in Colombia. They published the Guahibo New Testament, then joined the Guayabero translation project, discipling Colombian believers that they've been able to get to know through this.

Allan Lee
Organization: Mexican Medical
Location: Mexico

Allan Lee is a missionary in Baja, California, to the Copala Trique people. He also is part of a Mexican missions organization that helps to educate the Mexican church about cross-cultural missions.

Richard and Jackie Mansen
Organization: Wycliffe
Location: Illinois

The Mansens were long-time missionaries with Wycliffe as Bible translators. Now, they work in the US as mobilizers, encouraging people to become involved in missions.

Chuck Motz
Organization: YUGO
Location: Mexico

Chuck Motz works with YUGO and runs the ranch in Mexico that FBC goes to each year on the Mexico Outreach trip. He hosts many church groups throughout the year that come down to work on projects which benefit the local church.

Dick and Saundra Watson
Organization: Wycliffe
Location: Dallas

The Watsons spent over 40 years with Wycliffe in Vietnam, Sudan, and Kenya. Back in the states, Dick taught new missionaries at the Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics. They have recently begun working on additional translation projects.

Simon and Becky Zeigler
Organization: International Students Inc.
Location: Seattle

Simon and Becky live in Seattle and work with International Students, Inc. (ISI) Simon is the Seattle Area Director; they both work to disciple international students and connect them with other Christian volunteers. See Simon and Becky's prayer requests.
