Divorce Recovery Support
The Divorce Recovery Support workshops are starting up again! For more information, please email or call Joab Maldonado (530.304.5930).
Starting December 6, 2008, we meet on Saturdays from 9-11 am at the FBC Fireside Room. During this time we utilize materials from DivorceCare in a support group/seminar format.
We provide:
- A ministry of prayer and biblical support
- A seminar for providing biblical and practical guidance for endurance and recovery
- Childcare. We have a wonderful team to help facilitate your being here
- A social group. While this forum is mixed gender, it is not a singles group. We encourage fellowship in the context of Home Groups and other study groups.
- Counseling. We are not counselors but we believe that professional counseling is useful and may be able to refer you to a counselor
Sewing Sowers
The Sewing Sowers work on various sewing or quilting projects that are donated to charities. All are welcome, male or female, over 12 years of age.
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from 9:30 am - 12 pm. Contact Shirley Carrier at 707.678.2095 or Corky Cook at 530.753.7488 for more information.
