Renae Wurst-Owens

Shabnam Tavatli
Shabnam is a biology major at UC Davis. She grew up in Davis and has attended FBC since she was three years old. She enjoys working with the youth and hopes to be seen as a big sister. She is co-leading the 7th grade girls’ small group.

William Redenbaugh
Will grew up in Davis and FBC. He is 20 years old and has spent the last year and a half in New Zealand in a Bible school. He is the Jr. High intern at FBC and his desire is to follow God’s leading, especially using movies and video. He is leading the 7th grade guys’ group.

8th and 9th GRADE
Andrew Stevenson
Andrew graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in Fall ’06. He is now working towards a Construction Management degree from Sac State. His interests include guitar, IM sports, and surfing. Andrew fearlessly co-leads the 9th grade guy’s group to victories of all sorts with Tim Kam.

Caitlin Gross
Caitlin is a sophomore at UC Davis. She loves going to coffee with people and doing anything active and fun. She is very excited about co-leading the 8th/9th grade girls’ small group.

Dehn (pronounced Yen) Tuyen
She hopes to attend optometry school in the fall of 2008. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, hanging out with friends, playing volleyball, and writing in her journal. Dehn will be co-leading the 8th/9th grade girls’ small group.

Joel Finley
Joel is an 8th grader at heart so he fits in perfectly as the leader of the 8th grade guys’ group. He works at UC Davis and his passions include loving and serving Jesus, hanging out with his wife, eating protein, and playing Halo.

Laura Judson
Tim first started coming to FBC when he went to UC Davis in college… back in the late 80’s when pegging your Levi’s was still cool. After moving back to the area and getting married in 2004, he and his wife have been attending FBC regularly. They are very thankful to be a part of such a great church. He is looking forward to a rewarding year in ministry. Tim is co-leading the 9th grade guys’ small group.

Richie Bellow
Richie became a believer in the FBC youth group. He has been involved in youth ministry for a long time. Richie is old and doesn’t trust goats. They have creepy, devil eyes. He is leading the 10th grade guy’s small group.

Jamie Benett
Jamie is finishing up her B.S. in Biology at UC Davis. She is also the High School intern at FBC. She loves the God, the outdoors, sports, movies, and hanging out with high school kids. Jamie is co-leading the 11th grade girl’s small group.

Christina Chin
Christina graduated from Davis High in 2004, but grew up traveling the world as a military brat. She loved her time at DHS, and was active in student government, golf, and lacrosse. She’s now a 4th year at UC Davis and the Advertising Manager at The California Aggie. Christina is co-leading the 12th grade girl’s small group.

Kevin Kaub
Kevin is a web-designer by day and seminary student by night. He has been in Davis and involved at FBC since his freshman year at UC Davis. He has traveled to five (soon to be six) continents and love music, technical things, learning, investing in students, helping people grow and mature in Christ, and following Jesus with all that he is. Kevin is leading the 12th grade guys’ small group.
